v Steve Keifer,  Vice President Product Marketing, GXS   

 

Steve leads a team responsible for GXS strategy in the High Tech, Automotive, Consumer Products and Financial Services industries.  Steve joined GXS in 2004 and has spearheaded a number of initiatives including the company’s strategy in the Chinese automotive market and most recently the launch of a new suite of banking solutions.

v Boudewijn Janssen, Amkor Technology, EDIFICE Chairman

Boudewijn Janssen, Dutch, is eBusiness Manager for Amkor Technology, responsible for the integration of Amkors European customers. 

He joined the Semiconductor industry in July 1998. Over this course of time Boudewijn has been active in Product Marketing, Business Management, Supply Chain Management and e-Business.
Since January 1st, 2005 Boudewijn is part of Amkors Customer Management Organization which purpose is to enhance the integration between Amkor and its customers in pursuing intensive B2B relationships to support current and future business models.

Boudewijn has been Vice-Chair and Treasurer of EDIFICE and was elected Chairman in September 2008.

v Marc Morley, GXS

Mark Morley has worked for GXS for 3 years and is currently an Industry Marketing Director, leading the global strategy for the high tech and automotive sectors. The ongoing convergence of the high tech and automotive supply chains provides many challenges and Mark tracks the B2B trends, developments and challenges incorporating this information into GXS’ ongoing product development strategy.

Prior to joining GXS, Mark worked for the National B2B Centre in the UK, a government funded organisation helping small to medium sized companies adopt B2B related technology. Previously, Mark was at PTC for 13 years, a provider of product lifecycle management solutions, where he held a number of senior positions in technical, presales and international marketing.

Mark gained an MBA from Warwick Business School and an MSc degree in Computer Aided Engineering Systems from Cranfield University in the UK.

v  Bidur Dhaul 

Bidur Dhaul is the Director, Supplier Collaboration at Philips Consumer Lifestyle since 2008. Bidur is leading the Lean Six Sigma(LSS) Black Belt program to establish Multi-tier E-Connectivity across PCL and demonstrate value creation capability of E-connectivity. He initiated collaborative contacts with Suppliers (Outsourced Manufacturers and Critical Component Suppliers) and facilitated their on-boarding to E-connectivity. He has led change management initiatives and training within upstream supply chain to adopt the new way of working. He has also participated as a LSS consultant in other supplier collaboration projects such as 'Cycle time reduction' and 'Design for Logistics'.

Bidur started at Philips in 2005 as Global Supply Chain Manager, Hospitality TV and in his second assignment he took over the role of Director, Sales and Operations Business Planning Processes for Philips Consumer Lifestyle.

Bidur has a Nautical Science degree from the South Tyneside College, United Kingdom and a MBA from INSEAD (France) on 'Strategy and Finance'. He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Philips Supply Chain Academy.

Manager of the B2B Commerce Partner Solutions Group at Cisco

Arthur van Staveren (39) is managing the Commerce Partner Solutions Group for Europe, Emerging Markets, AsiaPac and Japan. The value our team brings to Cisco and its Business Partners is that we make it as easy as possible for our Partners to order our products and services. The ultimate and easiest place for our Partners to do business with us is their own (ERP) system. The solutions we offer are geared to enable the partners to order and manage Cisco products and services using their own system, in their own ‘look and feel’ at the time they prefer; Close to 40% of Cisco’s worldwide order volume is conducted leveraging our B2B solutions, and the demand for B2B is growing. Over 50% of these B2B orders are autobooking without any touch by Cisco. Our charter is to increase these shares further to contribute to our mission of growth, increase productivity and enhancing our partner experience.

Arthur joint Cisco in 2000 as a project manager. In this position he was amongst other things responsible for the integration of various business processes between Cisco and one of Cisco’s biggest system integrators. Before Cisco, Arthur was supply chain development manager at KLM Royal Dutch airlines (2 years) and management consultant (4 years) at a midsize management consultancy firm

v David Connelly, Open Applications Group 

David Connelly is CEO of the Open Applications Group (OAGi), an organization that builds open standards for business process interoperability.  

David’s has over 30 years experience in the software industry with end user organizations as well as software providers.  He is a frequent speaker on eBusiness, SOA, and Web Services.

v  John Radko, Chief Technology Strategist, GXS

John Radko, chief technology strategist at GXS, advises the GXS’ leadership team on technology and coordinates and encourages technology advancement across the full range of GXS product lines.  These include hosted supply chain automation applications, electronic document interchange (EDI) services and business-to-business (B2B) integration products.

John previously led the architecture and construction of the GXS Internet Commerce Platform (ICP), a standards-based infrastructure for provisioning GXS’ hosted Internet services.  During the ICP project, Mr. Radko played a significant role in shifting the engineering teams to open standards and the Java programming language for all new development.

Prior to this, John held a variety of technical leadership positions within GXS.

Mr. Radko’s career began at GE, of which GXS was once a subsidiary, in one of the company’s technical leadership development programs. Mr. Radko earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.

v Franziska Kraus, Motorola

As Business Integration Manager at Motorola Franziska Kraus brings in more than 18 years of professional experience. She leads an international team governing integration services and providing business analysis for integration projects.

Franziska’s special interest is in aligning EAI and B2B Architectures with Enterprise Process & Data models, providing visibility and metrics to the integration layer and fine tune to match up to the company strategy.

She managed multi national trading partner projects and was instrumental in providing collaboration across geographic areas Supply Chains and Businesses. As a consultant Franziska shared her in depth knowledge for the first ever RosettaNet implementation in China.

Due to her combined technical and process background in integration platforms and ERP systems Franziska gathered extensive experience required to realize value and benefits in the area of integration; especially in economically challenging times.

v Pierfrancesco Manenti, IDC

 

Pierfrancesco Manenti is the research director for Manufacturing Insights within IDC's European Vertical Markets Group.

In this role he provides insight into the key issues and trends affecting the manufacturing industry verticals in Western Europe, including discrete manufacturing, process manufacturing, automotive, CPG, and retail.

Manenti has developed strong market experience in understanding industry-specific process challenges and vertical-specific technology trends in order to provide strategies on IT demand from both the end-user and vendor perspectives.

He analyzes and anticipates key trends in industry-specific business process challenges, forecasts IT strategies and spending in specific sub-verticals in Western Europe, and provides consulting and advisory support to end-user organizations as well as IT vendors.

Manenti comes to Manufacturing Insights with 15 years' business experience spanning the functional disciplines of business development, business unit management, supply chain and demand management strategies and implementation, customer support, and accounting processes.

Prior to joining IDC, Manenti spent more than 10 years with TXT e-solution, a Europe-based SCM software vendor, where he held increasing roles and responsibilities, including industry business unit manager for automotive, business development manager for manufacturing industries, and U.K. operations director.

Manenti has a degree in computer science from Pisa University (Italy).

v Clem Erhardt III, RosettaNet President

Executive Vice President, Corporate and External Affairs, GS1 US

Clement D. Erhardt, III is Executive Vice President of GS1 US, responsible for managing all strategic non-customer relationships for the four business units of GS1 US. This includes government and industry relations, international affairs, corporate secretarial, and legal. In April 2008, he also assumed P & L responsibility for the RosettaNet business unit.

Prior to joining GS1 US in 2004, Mr. Erhardt served as General Counsel for the Water Heater Industry Joint Research and Development Consortium. In this role, he provided consortium members with business and legal advice surrounding national and international standards development, antitrust, and the management of intellectual property.  Mr. Erhardt also held the position of General Counsel to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in the George H. W. Bush Administration, where he was nominated by the White House and confirmed by the bi-partisan commissioners to the third ranking position in an independent federal regulatory agency.  In addition, Mr. Erhardt was a partner at two major law firms, most recently McGuire Woods, LLP, representing a variety of Fortune 500 companies before Federal departments, agencies, and courts.
